Mexico city and Tlaxcala and Texcoco and......Josip Broz Tito!
Yesika, Miguel and I in Tlaxcala
I made it to Mexico city, but before coming to my CS I met Jose who took me to a interesting tour of Texcoco. It was a sort of an overture before entering Mexico. He told me all bout the history of his home town and more interesting (for all of you reading outside Mexico) we went to his favorite restaurant where Ivan first tried escamoles, or as I understood it (but only after I already tried it) I was eating insects......more accurately ant's eggs! I can only advise it to every one to try it because it tastes great!
Escamoles......look for the explanation
in text above :)
My CS host Roberta and I on Zocalo
I spent two days at my CS host, which was good and bad at the same time. Good because I had great time with her, with our long conversations (and discusions :) but bad, because I had no time or lust to go any where...so in two days of my precious time I visited only Teotihuacan and Anthropological museum, both very interesting and worth a visit.

Doing a tour of City's mural pictoring history of
the smallest state in Mexico, Tlaxcala
My sluggish time was ended thanx to Yesika. She was my second host in DF-e and she took me to her beuatifull home town of Tlaxcala, which also happends to be the smallest state in Mexico. We toured the city nad saw beuatifull mural done by one of the poupils of Diego Rivera (it's a painted history of Tlaxcala state)
My first experience with ancient
drink called pulque
These pictures were made on family reunion of Yesikas family. They have a very nice, healty, interesting tradition of runing a yearly race of 5 km.
The other tradition is to have a drink in a local pub...
this drink is is called "the lizard"......aperantly because after you
are done with it that is how you walk back home,....like a lizard :)
